RIGHT SQUARE PYRAMID Net Example with Surface Area and Volume

DO NOT USE THESE SAME DIMENSIONS!!
Your pyramid must have a 6 inch square base and be 3 inches high.
******************

Remember the sides of pyramids are always triangles. A right pyramid has its vertex directly on top of the center of the base. In our case, the base is a 3 inch square and our pyramid's height is 4 inches.

Don't forget your glue flaps and your dimensions. Be careful about finding the heights of your lateral side triangles. These heights will have to be slightly longer than the overall height of the pyramid, because the lateral sides are at a "slant" in relation to the base. You will need to use the Pythagorean Theorem to find these measurements. (See below.)
