The Entrance Net
Is a Semi-Trapezoidal Prism with One Curved Base Edge

Here is the net we made for the entrance. Notice all of the dimensions have been included for use in finding the surface area and volume.
This is a prism of sorts. We say that because one of the base edges is curved. Notice that to achieve a curve we need tiny separate glue flaps along the curve edge. The length of the curve face rectangle was determined by finding the arc length of the curve.
Notice how the small glue flaps separate and allow the posterboard to bend.
Here we do a "dry fit".

Voila, the "prism" is finished.
