Construct a Right Cone and
Analyze its Surface Area and Volume

For this activity you will construct a net for a right cone with a four inch diameter base and a height of three inches. You may want to follow our EXAMPLE as this net is a bit tricky.
Cut out your net and glue it together.
Now, on a piece of notebook paper describe in words how to find the surface area of your right cone, and then show the mathematics clearly.
Finally, on notebook paper describe in words how to find the volume of your right cone, and then show the mathematics clearly.
