Chinese numbers look a great deal different than American numbers. They are built from common strokes in a vertical manner. See if you can figure out what each symbol stands for, and how the larger numbers are built. To help, the number 10 looks like a plus sign.

Look for the patterns of symbols to see how the larger nos. are "built".
